Shaggy-haired boys; sweet morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Boys these days tend toward stylish haircuts requiring lots of care every morning, before they leave the house. But I kind of like the shaggy-haired look on certain guys, like the two in today’s photo posts. Doesn’t the guy to the left look like a sweetie? I wonder where he lives and what his name is? I’m guessing he’s…Paul from Des Moines, Iowa. He lives on a farm and spends a good deal of time by himself, since the nearest neighbors are two miles away. Does he ever dream of finding a boyfriend?

I’m done writing for the day, and right after lunch I have all sorts of errands and chores to take care of: wine market, barber shop, plant nursery, bank and super market. When I return home I have four shrubs I need to plant, and then a few home improvement tasks to discharge. I’ll stay busy.

Last night, I built a blaze in my patio fire pit, and it was so nice I hated to go inside for my dinner. I love winter in Florida. 🙂

It’s an absolutely beautiful morning outside–70 degrees, still and sunny. So much better than the lousy weather we suffered through for 10 days or so. I won’t even mind working out in the yard this afternoon, getting new plants in the ground.

If I have the time, I’ll take a three-mile walk, here on the island. I have leftovers to enjoy for my dinner, and it looks like I have a date with one of my little boyfriends this evening. (Lucky me.) We’ll spend a couple of hours getting intimate, and then he’ll be on his way.

All right, friends, I need to make myself some lunch before I hit the road to run my errands. Have a nice Saturday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
