Lover boys, sharing life; typical Monday for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When I was a young man, gay couples never got affectionate in public, unless they were patronizing a gay bar. But nowadays, I see guys holding hands and even kissing, right on the sidewalk. And how cool is that? I really like both photos I am posting here this morning. I hope you do as well.

Well, I attended two Super Bowl gatherings last night. The first was in the city, where I brought food to a friend’s house and we watched the game’s first half. We dined during halftime, then I drove back to my island and watched the game’s second half with my neighbors on a TV monitor the size of a football field. (Well, almost.) I can’t say the game was interesting, but I sure enjoyed spending time with friends.

This morning, my writing got disrupted by a meeting I held with two house painters who will likely be painting my building later this month. They were recommended by friends, and I liked them both, and I’m excited about freshening the exterior of my property. It’s been fifteen years since the building was painted, and it’s time to have it done, before the weather turns hot in May.

Today will be a typical Monday for me. I have some editing work to perform before lunch. Then, after I dine, I will drive into town to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I need to visit Home Depot afterward, the buy garden soil for a planting project I will work on tomorrow, and then I’ll head for home. I don’t have any plans for my evening, which is fine. After yesterday, I can use some down time.

Have a great Monday, everyone.
