Hot boys at the beach; Martin’s hitting the road this morning ….

Hi, friends and readers:

In most places in the northern hemisphere, the thought of visiting the beach would seem ridiculous because the weather’s too cold. But not where I live. The high on my island today will be around 72 degrees F, the sky clear, and the wind minimal. In short, perfect beach conditions. Now, if only the guys in today’s photo posts would show up down the street from my house …. 😉

I was up at eight this morning, shaving and making my bed, brewing coffee and making toast. It’s so pretty outside I feel energized. But I won’t be working in the writing department this morning. Instead, around 9:45 AM, I drive over to north Tampa for an appointment, an hour’s trip each way through fairly heavy traffic. It’s a pain, but necessary follow-up to a procedure performed on my left hand last year. So, I’ll pour coffee into Tervis tumbler and cruise on over.

Once I am done with the doctor, I’ll head back to St. Pete. I’ll grab lunch someplace, then visit the YMCA for my usual workout and lap-swimming.

I don’t have a lot planned for this evening, and that’s okay. After the Super Bowl and last night’s dinner-and-movie night, I am ready to stay home and build a nice blaze in my fire pit. I’ll stir fry chicken and veggies and put them over pasta, and Ill watch a Netflix rental that’s coming in today.

Have a nice Wednesday, friends.
