One more guy in a backward ball cap; pretty evening on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Do you guys find the young man to the left as appealing as I do? He’s clearly at the beach, and if he were down at the shore on my island, I would likely follow him around for as long as I could, admiring his athletic build and smooth skin. Aye-yi-yi, what a babe …. 😉

I had a thoroughly enjoyable workout at the YMCA, but no lap-swimming because, once again, the pool was too crowded. 🙁 Afterward, I visited Home Depot to purchase yard mulch and two new, under-the-cabinet lights for my kitchen. One of my old ones just burned out and I decided to replace both. These are LEDs so I won’t ever have to replace the bulbs.

I’m home now, and enjoyed the taste of a cold beer. It’s nice here tonight, sunny about 76 degrees, and still. But it’s going to get foggy later on, I can already see the fog building over the Gulf. I have tasty leftovers from my Saturday dinner I will heat up in the microwave and team with a fresh fruit salad. Yummy.

I’m not sure, but I may visit my timeshare to soak in the hot tub later on, or I’ll watch a Netflix streaming movie. Either choice sounds good. Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Sexy guys in backward ball caps; foggy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I like the look of a backward ball cap on a handsome young man, especially when he’s not wearing a shirt like Mr. Sexy to the left here. If he were my boyfriend I wouldn’t let him wear a shirt when he was at home. He’s just too delicious to cover up his torso. 😉

I spent last night by myself, watching a Netflix movie while I dined on leftovers from Thursday’s takeout meal. The dish was Greek spaghetti and it was real tasty, especially when I teamed it with a fresh spinach salad. Yummy ….

I was in bed and asleep by eleven last night, and then I woke up this morning at 7:30. After a quick breakfast, I got busy in the writing department. I wrote at a furious pace for 2-1/2 hours. My novel-in-progress is now at 95,000 words and nearing its conclusion, at least as far as the first draft is concerned.

People don’t understand how the creative writing process works. I never know how a book I am writing will end. I only know how the scene I am writing is likely to conclude. And when writing fiction, one must allow the creative side of the brain do the work. The logical side of the brain takes the back seat, at least until the first draft is complete. Then logic takes over during rewrites, at least that’s how it works for me.

BTW, isn’t this guy to the left delicious. I love his low-riding jeans and rippling abs. Another guy who shouldn’t wear a shirt at home. 😉

All right, everyone, I have much to do this morning before I leave for the YMCA, so I will conclude this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Monday, wherever you might be today. 🙂
