I don’t know why skateboarders have such a bad reputation. People think they are stupid and smelly, just because they are nonconformists and tend to wear unkempt clothing. But I have known many skateboarders during my life, and I find them to be intelligent and sensitive guys who simply don’t choose the mainstream way of doing things. Plus, it takes a special person to master the art of skateboarding. Dedication and time must be invested.
Anyway, I could watch the guy to the left here skate all day long if he’d keep his shirt off. What a beautiful young man–great hair and skin, athletic build. 😉
I was up early this morning because I had a meeting scheduled with a tile-setting company to generate an estimate on the cost of re-tiling my front porch. The guys were nice, and they weren’t here long.
In about an hour, just after I eat lunch, I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a lap-swimming session and a workout in the fitness center. I do that three times per week as part of my fitness regimen, and it’s good for me physically and mentally.
I don’t have much else planned for my day, other than editing a story I am working on and preparing a tasty shrimp dish for my evening meal. I have a Netflix rental to watch when I dine, and I’ll probably call it an early bedtime. Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
