Only certain guys can pull off wearing an a-shirt. A guy needn’t be muscular to look good in one. The boy to the left here is pretty slender, but he has broad shoulders and a trim waist, plus he’s pretty damned cute. I also like the way the photographer shot the photo through a chain link fence. It gives the boy an air of mystery, I think.
I had a pleasant evening at my friend’s home last night. We dined on tasty pizza and salad, but I was so tired by the end of the meal, I couldn’t even finish the bottle of wine I brought with me. I just drove home and crawled into bed with a book, and I was asleep in fifteen minutes.
I woke this morning around seven-thirty, feeling rested and ready for a good day. Right after I brewed coffee and made breakfast, I got busy writing the first pages of a new novel I am starting. Now that my last book has been accepted for publication, I can focus on this new manuscript.
It’s always hard to know what I want to write about, when I start a new book. I spent about five weeks pondering what the story would be about, and who the characters would be. Now I’m at a good starting point. I wrote this morning for a couple of hours, and I’m pleased with what I produced. Already, I’m getting to know my two main characters, Adam and Peter.
By the way, our boy to the left here sure does his a-shirt justice, doesn’t he? What a great body–slim in the hips, with broad shoulders and a sculpted torso. Definitely boyfriend material. 😉
I have a pretty easy Friday ahead of me. Right after lunch, I’ll visit the YMCA for lap-swimming and a workout in the fitness center. Then I’ll visit an auto parts store to buy a new battery fro my Element, as the old one’s getting sluggish. I’ll hit the supermarket on the way home, then spend a quiet evening at home, watching a Netflix rental and dining on something good.
Have a nice Friday, everyone.
