Beautiful Gavin Casalegno; rainy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

No matter what your tastes in young men run to, you’ll have to admit Gavin Casalegno, whose photos I’m posting here this morning, has to be one of the most beautiful young men alive today. He has it all–great skin and hair, a lanky frame with just the right amount of muscle, and amazing ice-blue eyes that I find utterly enchanting. I wonder if he has a boyfriend. If not, call me, Gavin. I’m available. 😉

Last night, while I enjoyed my dinner at home, I watched a Netflix rental, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Men Tell No Tales, and I have to say I found it utterly boring. I am sick of movies loaded up CGI and unrealistic characters. They’re all so formulaic and predictable. I much prefer a quiet movie focusing on believable characters dealing with the everyday problems we face in our lives.

Anyway, I finished the movie, then crawled into bed with a thoroughly satisfying history book about the Sioux war chief, Red Cloud, who fought the U.S. Army shortly after the Civil War. Most of the fighting took place in Wyoming and Montana, where I just spent three weeks hiking and visiting places Red Cloud inhabited back then.

Last night, I fell asleep around eleven PM and didn’t wake up until ten this morning.

Last week’s hand surgery has left me a bit listless, though I did manage to pain the baseboards on my front porch yesterday afternoon. Today, a neighbor will help me get my porch swing hung back up, and then my porch will look terrific with its new tile and even a new door mat I bought online.

Outside, it’s been raining on and off all morning, and conditions are terribly steamy. Until I get my stitches taken out on August 21st, I can’t swim or go to the gym, and I’m going a little stir-crazy. But I’m editing a friend’s book right now, and that will keep me busy.

Have a great Sunday, everyone.
