Mondays are the day of the week I typically like to share some of my favorite black-and-white photos with all of you, so I am putting up two news ones this morning. The guy to the left here is exactly my type: tall, broad-shouldered and slender, with just the right amount of muscle on him. And how nice of him to eschew wearing a shirt so we can admire his smooth torso. 😉
Well, my friend had to cancel last night’s visit to a beach bar/restaurant, but I had a great evening anyway. A group of my neighbors gathered at a swimming pool next door to me. It was a nice way to start the evening. Then my neighbor brought over a turkey casserole and I made a spinach salad for three of us, and we spent a pleasant 90 minutes or so, enjoying the food and conversing. After I cleaned up the kitchen, I spent some time trading IMs with a young man from Minnesota I’m getting to know. He may visit in October. 🙂
Do you find the guy to the left here as appealing as I do? Okay, I’m not a fan of nose rings, but I’ll overlook his because he’s so damned good looking. I like his freckles and full lips that make me wonder exactly what he could do with them. 😉
Monday, I ordinarily visit the YMCA in town to work out with weights and swim laps in the pool. But due to my hand surgery, I can’t get in the pool until Wednesday, and it’ll still be ten days or so before I can lift heavy weights. So, I will take a three-mile walk on the beach after lunch, and then I will run two miles around four PM. That’s about the best I can do right now, and I try to be philosophical about it. I’ll get back to my exercise regimen soon enough, and my hand’s looking and feeling better every day.
Have a great Monday, everyone.
