Certain guys look amazing when they walk around shirtless, especially guys who look like the ones in today’s photo posts. It’s my guess the young man to the left here lives on a farm or ranch, somewhere in the Midwest or Far West. I sure wouldn’t mind working in the fields or sharing a room in the bunkhouse with him. 😉
It’s only ten AM right now, but I’ve already had a busy morning. At eight AM, I visited a medical lab to have several vials of blood drawn for more testing ordered by my doctor last week. After that, I visited Home Depot to make some purchases for my home and my vacation rental next door.
On my way home, I hit the supermarket to restock my fridge and cupboards, and now everything’s put away. I can relax and maybe solve the L.A. Times crossword puzzle before I get busy again.
One of my purchases at Home Depot was a new corn plant for my living room because the old one, which was looking so healthy, decided to shrivel up and die over the past week. So, I’ll need to toss the old plant and pot the new one.
I have a friend from Dallas coming to stay with me Labor Day weekend, and I’ll need to clean my bathrooms and my kitchen. I’ll do some editing on my friend’s book (I’m 2/3 of the way through it.) and I’ll do some editing on my own new novel I just started over the weekend.
Around four PM, I hope to take a two-mile run, here on the island. Then I’m having drinks and dinner with an older friend I spent three weeks out West with back in June and July. We’ll dine at a place that has live music and good food. Then I will head home and relax there for the rest of the evening.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a very pleasant Tuesday. And keep smiling; it’s important. 🙂
