When I was in college and law school, I grew my hair long, I mean past my shoulders. I thought it looked pretty good, but it was a pain in the ass to take care of. When my graduation from law school neared, I had to interview for jobs with law firms, so I had all that long hair cut off, and I have never worn it long again. I my view, long hair is for young men like the two in today’s photo posts.
Check out Mr. Tank Top to the left here. Imagine kissing him while you raked your fingers through his wavy locks? Aye-yi-yi, what a sexy guy …. 😉
I spent a great evening with my good friend Bill yesterday. We visited a bar where a good band played for an hour. Then we returned to Bill’s and he cooked a steak I’d brought with me, purchased at our island meat and seafood market. It was delicious. 🙂
When I got home from Bill’s, I spent an hour talking on the phone with a young man from the Midwest who I am getting to know. He plans to visit me for a few days in mid-September, and I can’t wait because he’s so cute, and he’s smart and personable too.
Because I got up so early yesterday morning, I ended up sleeping late today, and that’s okay. I was tired from all the work I did around the house yesterday. I woke feeling refreshed and ready for a nice day.
In just about twenty minutes, I will drive my Element into the city to visit the YMCA for the first time in almost a month. Because of my hand surgery, I haven’t been able to lift weights or swim laps in the pool, and I have really missed my gym routines. I still can’t lift weights, but I’ll do leg exercises and other things not involving my hand. And I’ll swim my laps.
All right, everyone, I need to get into my gym clothes, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂
