In keeping with today’s theme, I give you a photo of actor Nicholas Hoult, as he appeared in the film, A Single Man, which was probably released seven or eight years ago.
Wasn’t Nick beautiful back then? I saw a recently released film about the writer, J. D. Salinger, staring Nick, and he’s still exceptionally handsome. I’m told he’s gay, but I don’t know if it’s true. If he is, some very lucky guy has Nick as a boyfriend.
I had a great lap-swimming session at the YMCA, followed by a light workout in the fitness center. On my way home, I stopped at the wine market and the supermarket to re-stock my kitchen. Now I am sipping from a cold beer and looking forward to a relaxed evening. I’ll share a bottle of red wine with my neighbor, and then I’ll dine on fresh salmon and a sweet potato. Yummy …. 🙂
I’ve always felt and attraction to men with fair skin and dark hair and eyes. It’s my thing. But I certainly wouldn’t pass up a date with either guy in today’s photo posts. I mean, have a look at the guy to the left here. What’s not to like about him? He has pretty eyes and amazing lips. His skin and hair are lovely, and he has nice muscles in his chest, shoulders and arms. Yummy ….
I went to bed early last night, and I spent about a half-hour reading Jame’s Baldwin’s short novel, Giovanni’s Room. I learned about Baldwin’s story while reading a John Irving novel, In One Person, earlier this summer, and my interest was piqued. I ordered a used copy of Baldwin’s stories from Amazon, and I’m not sure if I like Baldwin’s writing style or not. We’ll see.
Anyway, I got a good night’s sleep and I was up at nine this morning. I brewed coffee and ate a hasty breakfast. Then I got busy writing fresh material for my new novel-in-progress. My main character (MC) is a working class kid who’s trying to create a middle class image for himself at school, and also trying to figure out his sexual orientation.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I find the guy in the middle photo here enchanting. I like everything about him. His blue/gray eyes, his stubble and pink lips, and that tantalizing tongue. I’ll bet he can do amazing things with it. 😉
Outside, the wind’s blowing pretty hard, since Hurricane Dorian is northeast of us and right off Florida’s Atlantic coast. We’re in no danger here, but folks in the Daytona Beach and Jacksonville area will get hammered today. I don’t envy them.
Right after lunch today, I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a lap-swimming session and some exercising in the fitness center. My left had is mostly healed from my surgery, which was a month ago. But it’s not ready for heavy weightlifting. So I’ll take it easy and do what I can.
