You can’t beat good quality black-and-white photography, can you? I think the lack of color makes you focus on the subject matter of the picture, and who wouldn’t want to focus on the young man to the left here? I like the way he appears off-center in the photo, and also the way light is playing on his facial features. I also like the way we are shown a bit of the model’s chest hair. What a nice piece of art. 🙂
I woke up at six AM this morning and spent two hours reading James Baldwin, then I fell asleep for three more hours, so I didn’t get back up until close to eleven AM, a frustrating experience, but what can you do?
I spent a thoroughly enjoyable Thursday evening with my best friend yesterday. We sat under ceiling fans on his second-floor deck while we drank a couple of beers. Then we dined on Greek cuisine. Perfect.
The young man to the left here is Dylan O’Brien, a TV and film actor. He’s no Heath Ledger, but he sure is cute. Who’d pass up a date with him? And I like the way his mouth is gaping while he is looking upward. 😉
In about a half-hour I will climb into my Element and cruise into the city for a workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA. My left hand’s not 100% yet but it’s getting there, and I feel great about getting back into my exercise regimen.
Tonight, a longtime friend who I don’t see too often (He’s so damned busy.) is coming out to my place to spend the evening with me. We’ll drink a little wine, then we’re going out to dinner at a seafood place we both like. I have known him since he was sixteen years old, and despite our age difference, and the fact he’s straight, we always enjoy each other’s company. So, it’ll be a nice evening.
Have a great Friday, everyone.
