I used to spend my summers in Berlin, Germany, to escape the Florida heat, and over there, if you visit a swimming beach, most of the men wearing Speedo-style swimsuits. But you never see American boys of men wearing that style of suit; they are just too modest t show off that much skin, and it’s a shame. Doesn’t our friend to the left here look good in his?
Yesterday, I dined on leftovers from my dinner out on Friday; they were tasty. I watched a little football while I ate. Then I hit the bed with a book. I was feeling tired but contented after my Sunday date, and after about 30 minutes I went to sleep. I was up at eight this morning, feeling rested and ready for the day.
Right after I finished my breakfast, I got busy writing new material for my novel-in-progress. I wrote for 2-1/2 hours, and things went very smoothly. Afterward, I solved the N.Y. Times Monday crossword puzzle, and now I’m creating this post.
Today will be a typical Monday for me. Now that my left hand is almost fully healed, I will visit the YMCA to work out with weights, then I’ll swim laps in the indoor pool, which I always enjoy. Then I will head home.
I’m not sure what I will do with my evening, but if there’s a nice breeze blowing, around five PM I’ll ascend to my observation deck with a couple of beers, so I can watch the sailboats cruise by my house. I’ll bake a chicken breast for my dinner and maybe I will watch a Netflix rental that came in the mail Saturday. Have a nice Monday, everyone. 🙂
