Yes, the young man to the left here is the same Ash Stymest whose photos I posted here this morning. But he looks far more respectable with his multitude of tattoos undercover. What a beautiful guy, eh?
I had a great workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA this afternoon. I am nearly back to where I was before my hand surgery, and I can already see the difference in my body. The muscles are coming back. 🙂
I just spent about 45 minutes on my deck, enjoying the breeze and watching boats cruise by my place. At last, summer’s heat and humidity are letting up a bit. It’s still warm, but not as bad as last week.
I’m spending this evening by myself. I’ll edit what I wrote this morning for my new novel, and maybe I’ll try watching the remainder of the Netflix film I started watching last night. Have a nice Wednesday night, friends.
I am not a huge fan of tattoos, but that is probably a reflection of my age. The guy I had my last date with had three tattoos, and one my my best friends, who’s considerably younger than me, has a large tattoo on his left arm.
Still, I think Ash Stymest, an English fashion model whom you see in today’s photo posts, would look a lot better without his tattoos. Okay, he still looks pretty damned hot, even with them, and I certainly would not pass up a date with Ash, just because of his ink jobs. I’m not that picky. 😉
I watched a Netflix rental last night, then climbed into bed with my James Baldwin book. It wasn’t long before my eyelids began to droop, and I switched off my reading lamp. I woke at 7:30 this morning, feeling good and ready for the day.
I was at the keyboard by nine, where I wrote feverishly for two hours, cranking out new material for my novel-in-progress. My main characters are two working class kids trying to improve their images amid a sea of middle class students at their high school. I think it’ll turn out to be a good book. We’ll see.
Since today is Wednesday, right after lunch I ‘ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. My left hand gets better every day, and hopefully I’ll get back to heavier weights in a week or so. I have nothing planned for my evening, other than enjoying a couple of beers and the breeze, up on my deck.
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
