Cute twinks; storms rolling over the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Sometimes I’m out in public, at the beach or perhaps at the supermarket, and I’ll encounter a young man in his mid-teens who is so good-looking I tell myself, “I’d like to meet up with him in a few years, when he’s of age.”

Yeah, twinks are fun to gaze at, but alas, by law they are untouchable. So, we have to be patient … 🙂

I slept in late today, I don’t know why because I went to bed at my normal time. But I let myself stay in bed until I felt ready to get up. I brewed coffee and solved the L.A. Times Crossword puzzle–a tough one, by the way, but I solved it.

Since it is Friday, I would normally visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming, but a tropical storm is rolling across the Florida peninsula and we’re already getting squall lines on the island–rain, wind and thunder. It’ll be a weird day, weather-wise, bu that’s okay. I have plenty to do, here at the house.

I’m spending my evening with a old friend who lives on an island north of mine. We’ll visit a tiki bar on the beach to listen to live music. I’m bringing a New York strip steak with me and y friend’s making a tasty salad to go with it. We’ll enjoy our meal with some wine, and then I’ll cruise home; he’s only seven miles form my place, so it’s an easy trip.

All right, everyone, I need to get busy with things here at the house, so I will close this post by wishing you a pleasant Friday, wherever you might be. And keep smiling, it’s important.
