Another lovely photo of Cristian Chirca ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Well, my friend Michael informed me this afternoon that the young man featured in this morning’s photo posts, Cristian Chrica, is actually Romanian, not French, which makes sense. I once had a brief affair with a young Romanian man from Transylvania when I spent ten days in Budapest. He was lovely, and also highly intelligent.

I had a good workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA this afternoon, and I stopped at our island seafood market to buy fresh shrimp for my dinner tonight. It’s going to be as yummy as Cristian.

I spent 90 minutes on my elevated deck with my good friend and neighbor this evening. It was so nice, with the breeze and all, and now it’s time to get busy with dinner. We may take a swim at my timeshare later tonight, we’ll see.

Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Beautiful Cristian Chirca; typical Monday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I came across the photo to the left about a year ago, and it immediately captivated me. I found the model quite alluring, but I had no idea at the time who he was.

Yesterday,  cam across another photo of him, this one with a caption identifying him as fashion model Cristian Chirca. It seems he is quite popular with the Paris fashion houses, so I presume he is French, but I’m not really sure. Anyway, I think he has an unearthly appeal. What do you think?

I was up at a reasonable hour this morning, after spending Sunday evening at home. As soon as I rose, I brewed coffee and fetched the newspaper. I enjoyed a quick breakfast, then sat down at the keyboard to write for two hours. I got some solid work done, and now it’s 11:15 AM. I’m really liking my book’s main character a lot. He speaks frankly and without sentimentality. We are getting along just fine. 🙂

Here’s a color photo of Cristian I like a lot. He has a beautiful smile, and I love his wavy, tousled hair. I wonder if he has a boyfriend?

Today will be a typical Monday for me. Right after I complete this post, I’ll spend a half hour with the N.Y. Times online crossword puzzle. Then I’ll fix a simple lunch before driving into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. My left had is still a bit swollen, but it’s not painful anymore, so I can use my usual amount of weights while exercising.

I don’t have any plans for my Monday evening, other than dining on fresh shrimp from our island’s seafood market and watching a Netflix rental. Have a nice Monday, everyone. 🙂
