If you follow this site then you know I have a weakness for good-looking boys who wear their ball caps backward. But only young men should do this. As a friend once told me,” The only time a guy over thirty should turn his ball cap backward is when he’s about to give another guy a blow job.”
I completely agree …. 😉
I managed to get out of bed by ten this morning, after watching the Tampa Bar Rays beat Houston, to force the fifth game of the ALDS series. Sadly, I seem to have strained a tendon in the back of my right knew, no doubt because of the bedroom contortions I engaged in this past weekend with my friend from Kansas City. (Ah, the wages of sin.) When I rise from a sitting position, it hurts like the devil. Hopefully, the pain will subside in a few days. In the meantime, I’ll eat Advils.
Anyway, I have a busy day ahead of me. Right after lunch, I will visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. (Yeah, sore tendon and all, I will go.) Then, after the YMCA, I will drive to the northern end of my county to spend the evening with an old friend who was my next door neighbor one year when I was in law school, up in Tallahassee. We have stayed in touch over the years, but I have not seen him in person in probably 6-7 years, and I am so looking forward to spending time with him and his girlfriend. Since they live 35 miles north of my home, I will spend the night and drive home in the morning.
All right, everyone, I have much to do in preparation for this afternoon and evening, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Wednesday. And keep smiling like the boys in this post are doing. It’s good for you. 🙂
