I couldn’t tell you the last time I suffered a hangover from drinking too much alcohol. I try to moderate my drinking. But in my youth, I c an recall some absolutely wicked hangovers, usually after a Saturday of all-day drinking. I’d stare into my bathroom mirror while my head throbbed and say, “Why?”
Oh, well, we all have to learn our lessons in life, don’t we? And I’d say the guys in this morning’s photo posts are wondering what drove them to drink excessively the night before. Time to grab the Tylenol and brew a pot of coffee, guys. 🙂
Well, my German guests departed very early this morning, and I will miss their company. But I didn’t get much writing done while they were here, and it’s time I got back to the business of doing so. I can’t write efficiently when others are stirring in my household, I need solitude, and now I have it again.
Today will be uneventful for me. I have a service appointment for my refrigerator to have a minor repair performed, so I will pretty much be tied down until that is taken care of. If the appointment is concluded by four PM, I will take a two-mile run, here on the island, and then spend the evening with my oldest and best friend. If the appointment ends later than four PM, I’ll stay home this evening instead.
All right, friends, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a very pleasant Thursday. And if you have a hangover this morning, you have my sympathies.
