I have spent four summers living in Berlin, Germany, where balconies are a common architectural feature in apartment buildings. I especially enjoyed sitting on my balconies and watching handsome boys pass below me, and sometimes, when I made the acquaintance of a sexy young man, we’d spend time on my balconies, enjoying a beer and the fine Berlin summer weather.
Our friend to the left here seems to be enjoying the fresh air on his balcony, and how nice of him to appear shirtless so we can savor his lean body.
A friend came over for a drink, right after I finished my dinner, and we shared some laughs. By the time he left, I was feeling tired, so I grabbed a book and crawled into bed. I think I fell asleep 20 minutes later, and I slept until ten AM this morning.
I have an easy day ahead of me, here on the island, and it is beautiful outside. I need to visit the wine market to restock my supply. Then I will do some yard work–potting flowering plants and shrubs, using a leaf blower on my patios, and cleaning my patio fountain. Around four PM, I will take a two-mile run, here on the island.
I don’t have any plans for this evening, other than cooking myself dinner and enjoying a bottle of white wine. I’ll do some editing on my novel-in-progress.
Have a nice Tuesday, friends.
