I love photos of two young men getting affectionate with each other, whether it’s in private or in a public place. These days, it’s not unusual to see two men holding hands in a store or on a sidewalk, and I find that terribly refreshing. No more feeling ashamed for who we are and who we love. 🙂
I had a very pleasant dinner with one of my oldest friends last night, we dined on Italian and each had a couple of glasses of Chianti. Afterward, I drove home and watched the Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta.
Isn’t Pete Buttigieg a great guy? Not only is he extremely intelligent and articulate, but he is so damned cute. His husband is one lucky man, and I think it’s cool Pete’s openly gay and married.
I skipped going to the YMCA yesterday, as I wanted to get some work done in my patios, planting flowers and a shrub. It’s too hot in Florida between May and October, to grow flowers, they just wilt. So November is when I plant mine, and they will last until the end of April.
Anyway, I’ll visit the YMCA right after lunch today, to perform a full workout and swim laps. Outside, it’s a gorgeous fall morning–sunny, 70 degrees F, and only a light breeze tickling the fronds of my coconut palms. This weather is the reason we live in Florida, and we revel in its pleasures.
Have a nice Thursday, friends, and if you have a lover boy, be sure to giver him a kiss and a hug today. 🙂
