I try to keep things upbeat on this site. After all, we have enough misery in this world without me adding to it. But sometimes I will come across a few photos depicting sad boys that I find quite moving. I’m putting up two this morning.
I often wonder what circumstances caused the photographer to create the scene in the upper photo: A naked young man atop his skateboard, obviously not happy, and posed on an urban rooftop. What’s it all mean? I guess we’ll never know but I sure like the photo. 🙂
I rose around ten this morning to find myself in the midst of another perfect weather day, here on the island. The sun is shining, the air is still and dry, and the temperature’s 75 degrees F. Oh, how I love late fall in central Florida. 🙂
Have a look at the photo to the left here. Do you find it as moving as I do. It makes me want to wrap my arms around the guy and tell him everything will be okay. 🙂
I don’t have too much on my plate today, except doing some editing and maybe writing some fresh material for my novel-in-progress. My house is clean and tidy, and my yard’s in great shape. I will definitely take another three-mile walk on the beach this afternoon. Then, around 5:30 PM, a custom furniture company is delivering two new Adirondack chairs and a matching table for my patio fire pit. I already own chairs built by this company, and they are both comfortable and durable.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Tuesday, wherever you might be. 🙂
