I live in a boating community, and it’s so funny to watch young men when they are out on the water, especially in a remote place. Almost immediate-ly, the clothes come off and their lovely rear ends are on display for the ship’s captain. (That would be me.) Someone better rub sunscreen on the boy’s bottom in the upper photo, or he’ll be sporting a very red pair of butt cheeks. 😉
Well, I had a wonderful three-day weekend at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, returning to my island home around 11:30 last night. I was ready for some rest after three days of partying and walking all over the French Quarter and the Garden District. I was in bed by 12:30 AM, and I slept like a log until nine this morning.
I had a 1:30 PM appointment with my orthopedist today but that got moved to tomorrow, so I will spend my day on the island, getting things done around the house. I need to unpack and do a load of laundry, and my plants need watered. I’ll visit the supermarket to stock my fridge, and sometime this afternoon, I will walk three miles on the beach for some exercise, my first in six weeks, per doctor’s orders. It’s a beautiful day outside–sunny, still and warm, and I plan to make the most of it, after dealing with chilly weather in New Orleans.
Have a nice Tuesday, friends.
