My first partner and I lived in a nice family neighborhood for many years, where plenty of boys in their teens cruised around on bikes, often wearing very little. It was no secret my partner and I were gay, and the neighbors were, for the most part, very friendly and accepting. The neighborhood boys often stopped by on their bikes when I was working in the yard, and we’d chat. They seemed curious about the gay scene, but we chose not to discuss such matters with them. It would not have been appropriate, we thought.
We also had a hard and fast rule: none of the boys were allowed inside our house unless accompanied by one of their parents. So, a request to use our bathroom or to come inside for a drink of water was always denied.
I slept in late today. Ten I got up and brewed coffee while exchanging text messages with my boyfriend who is stationed overseas at the moment. He is so sweet and sexy, and he’s smart too. He will be discharged in July, which isn’t too far off, and then we’ll get to spend a lot more time together. I can’t wait. 😉
All right, everyone, although I am self-isolating, I have things to do, plus today is a workout day for me. So, I will close this post by wishing all of you a very marvelous Monday. 🙂
