The photo to the left here has always been one of my favorites, and not just because the boy has freckles, but because he looks like such a sweet guy. I’ll bet he lives in farm country somewhere in the Midwest. And I wonder if he’s ever had a boyfriend? 😉
It’s been a good day. I worked out here at the house. Then I did some light housework and cleaned up my patios. The weather has cooled here a bit, no more 92 degree days. But it’s still too warm for my taste.
Tonight will be another quiet one for Martin. I’ll dine on cube steak and a sweet potato, and I will savor a bottle of Sauvignon blanc. I’ll either watch a Netflix rental or Monday Night Football.
The first guy I ever fell in love with lived next door to me. His name was Brian, and one thing I really liked about him were his freckles. They looked like confetti dancing across his nose and cheeks.
I still have a thing for guys with freckles. They give a young man a boyish appearance and a uniqueness I find terribly appealing. Any guys with freckles out there need a date? 😉
I had a nice dinner with my neighbor yesterday, and then I returned home. I climbed into bed and read a book for about an hour before drifting into dreamland. As usual, I slept about 12 hours, which is driving me nuts, but I will see my doctor Wednesday and perhaps he can help me get back to a normal 8-hour sleep cycle. I am simply not getting enough done when I sleep so much. (Gr-r-r-r-r-r ….)
I don’t have much on my plate today, just doing laundry and working out here at home. I’ll prepare a spaghetti dinner around seven PM, and I have a Netflix DVD to watch. That’s about it, friends.
